Or because I’m surrounded by people with racial issues, and a false belief in populism. I’m pretty certain almost every sovereign nation is meddling in each other’s affairs. Right rather have a politically correct President than one who: has bragged about assaulting woman, caged children, banned people because of their religion, used business as a way to justify his denial in science, declared victory over our allies, blames everything on people he doesn’t like, talks with the vocabulary of a 5 year old, pulled my country closer to autocratic leaders, invited the Russians to meddle in our elections, went bankrupt multiple times, has denied facts throughout his term, created fake “fake news”, used race baiting as an excuse to bring back derogatory practices.

He doesn’t seem to represent the average person, and he certainly doesn’t represent the America I know. Political correctness saves us from administrations like NAZI Germany, the USSR, military junta’s, and autocratic leaders.

I also don’t think that age determines a person’s knowledge on a subject. I am one of the kids in the state for knowledge in geography, politics, and history. Of course the older “wiser” generations use age as a way to justify a reaction against new ideas.

If you think Trump wins for racial issues, and a false belief in populism, like most of the people who cant believe how he can win, you dont understand the reasons of his victory and it will be even worse if he obtein the reelection.

Well, you prefer Hillary and Obama after actions like the intervention of Libya and another nations of the zone, well, you have the rigth to think that but please dont ignore that kind of actions.

Trumps did and still doing many questionable things, like i said i prefer Gary Johnson, but all that actions you say are worse than attacking another countrys and kill/injure millions of people?, another thing is more ilegal inmigrants were deported by Obamas administration than Trumps if we comparing deporting by years.......but like Oama is political correctnes, is black and Democrat, is ok.

I never sayed he represent the average person in United States, he is a simbol against the political correctnes and you must be sure that there are many people, not only in U.S.A, in the world, tired of the imposition of those ideas, the facts are facts and not always are "political correct"

"Political correctness saves us from administrations like NAZI Germany, the USSR, military junta’s, and autocratic leaders": i never believed in my life to read something like this, that dont save your country of nothing of that (the political correction starts to exist in the 70s in U.S.A and is invented for American leftist), your military and economical power make U.S.A to defeat all of those enemys, i cant imagine an autocratic leader in your country and except in 1962 with the misile crisis, there arent another case with a posibility of a military junta’s.

You are rigth about the last!!, i said for you age, is logical you dont remember what happen in Lybia (some years ago), nothing more, you make me a surprise about knowing things about geography, probably, you are the american with higher knowleadge in Geography i have ever know, in the best of the cases the another confuse my country with Brazil :p

The new thing are just that: news, not better, i dont pretend to you change your ideas but may be, you question somethings like you dont question before.

Answer another time if you want but, in my case, i finish here.

Not exactly. There's a huge difference between administrations like Nazi Germany, military junta's and so on on one side, and an extreme political correctness where free speech is almost gone (because if you say 'boo!', someone is gonna fight you on that and say it's *insertbadthing*) on the other side. Like so many things nowadays, people seem to forget that there's a way in the middle.

Socialist?, is sad to me read that for an American, your country dont suffer socialism like countrys like mine but in the forum you can find people of countrys with terribles consequences, in your country in the last election i probably voted for Gary Johnson if i was American, i see you are very young for your profile.

Democratic socialism is working fine here in Northern Europe ;) (at least that's what people call it in America).

But I don't think it would work out quite as good on a national level in the US. Much of it would work better in single states.

Well the independence proposal won’t be put to a vote in California this year, so I think we’re a way off from that.

I know their training methods are kinda rocking the world in a number of summer endurance sports.  I can't really speak to they dynamics of their development program. Their men's nordic programs largely always seem to be ridiculously deep, overwhelmingly so the last decade or so.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
