So psycho Chauvin's charge has been moved up from 3rd degree to 2nd degree murder. Main difference being that to proof 2nd degree murder, you have to prove there was an intent to actually kill, instead of someone just not giving a fuck about human life.

Good luck with that, they've made their work a billion times harder (and less likely to be succesful) by doing so. He might have intended to kill him, but that's as good as impossible to prove without several statements from other people about him. Acting without specific intent to go and kill someone, but with total disregard of human life, resulting in death (3rd degree) is the thing that is rather obvious.

No, 3rd degree is accidental murder; 2nd degree is callous murder (I.e. the murder wasn’t pre meditated, but the suspect showed no value for human life).

1st degree would be that he planned to kill him, and then did so.

Minnesota law originally defined third-degree murder solely as depraved-heart murder ("without intent to effect the death of any person, caus[ing] the death of another by perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind, without regard for human life").

That is exactly the thing you can pretty easily prove here.

Meanwhile Trum's voter registration is turning out to be rather interesting.

The president himself making mistakes when it comes to registrating while he is throwing claims of fraud is rather interesting, especially when he has registered in Florida while apparently telling governors that he lives in Manhattan.

And meanwhile the White House has compared Trump's staged picture outside St. John's with the pictures of Churchill inspecting the damage during the London Blitz.

If it wasn't for the sad situation, it's rather hillarious that a situation following police charging a peaceful protest is compared to Churchill being a symbol of leadership unifying the country.

You do not need to be a balck American to feel it and know that racism issues have been there in America for ages. This issue has been there long ago and it is still a very big issue in America. All the black people in America basically need to fight on to earn their equal rights.

Yes, I also wanted to mention the latest statement of the WH spokeswoman: normally one reads such stuff on The Onion and similar satirical websites.

But now this is the reality, FFS!

During the last months of the Tsar’s rule in Russia, when Rasputin ran amok, the French ambassador wrote home to his superiors: “Unfortunately, I am now forced to conclude that the Russian Empire is presently governed by lunatics.” (qoute maybe not precise)

Wonder if any diplomat now reports something similar home from Washington....
