Polish gutter press writes about argument in Polish team (https://sport.interia.pl/biegi-narciarskie/news-monika-skinder-o-slowach-izabeli-marcisz-otwarty-konflikt-w-,nId,5825896).

 

Izabela Marcisz (best distance skier) won't run team sprint with Monika Skinder (nominally best polish sprinter), because some personal stuff.

 

If someone care...

 

By the way Polish men's relay will not start, because they save energy for team sprint to somehow manage to get TOP8 to secure scholarship.

I think they would have sang a different tune had they been favourites to win a medal.

I'm not the type for changing stuff, but only 5 km leg is outdated. Like they only run for something like 12 minutes.. Make it at least 6  or 7 km

FIS is skewed into sprints for a while now. 5 kms leg gives the sprinters a chance to compete in regular relays so there's little chance this distance will be extended.

This whole thing of women having significantly shorter races and events in so many sports is nonsense anyway. Deal with that first before coming up with all kinds of mixed events.
