Former  steeplechase runner Jairus Birech has passed away.

 Young gymnast Naufal Al Bari passed away after an accident during training camp in Russia. He is part of the Indonesian team for the upcoming artistic gymnastic world championships

Dorota Tlałka - the only Polish World Cup winner in alpine skiing passed away at the age of 62.

 

She represented France between 1986-1989.

 Menzies Campbell died on Friday aged 84

As a sprinter he competed at the 1964 Olympics where he ran in the final of the 4 x 100 relay.

He set a British record for the 100m in 1967 in a race where he beat OJ Simpson.

He later became a politician and was leader of the Liberal Democratic Party from 2006.

Muscle atrophy, something like that, like SLA? Because heart disease and, for example, a heart attack, probably not? Maybe diabetes- the disease is also long and may be severe at the end of life, but I doubt it.
