Track Cycling at the Summer Olympic Games 2020

Recommended Posts

The result in women's keirin might be the most absurd at the whole games. 3 nobodies noone ever heard of winning the medals. Overall Germany threw away more safe gold medals than even the biggest hater would have predicted.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Another disappointment for us, what else is newIf You Say So Shrug GIF

I would want to be French right now, you have 3 teams in finals of team sports, with chance for even 5 teams.

I think the main argument was that there were four sprint events for each gender and only two endurance events with no points or scratch race. The new style omnium creates a 3-3 split.

they should bring individual pursuit and point race back as standalone disciplines, instead of this thing...and maybe even put the elimination race as a standalone event in the Olympic schedule, too...:pope:

It's the only silver lining at these Olympics (we had good results in judo and fencing too but other than that way too many disappointments, we're gonna end up with approximately 7-10 less medals than in Rio)

That's one Dutch sprinter in the individual final already.

British ESP commentators are already insinuating the Dutch officiating bias since Hoogland did not get relegated for going over the line in heat 1...

I can't say I was paying enough attention so it's hard to say, but apparently Dutch TV did talk about it for a bit. Belgians ignored it though :p

Lithuanians have looked slow motion all week. Somehow they got 5th in the team, but individual events have been abysmal.

Ya, the Dutch are the new Brits when it comes to track cycling.

Not even remotely :d

We'll get to that when both pursuit teams are serious medal contenders (they don't even really have a team yet) and distance events bring the same results as the men's sprint events :p
