(or at least drop the point system)

See, this is an ideal event through which we can introduce transgender sport.  Instead of the deeply unsatisfactory two-men, two-women races which always end in a tie, you could have one man, one woman & one ts, which would always give a clear win.

FIS had it the wrong way. It's ok to try new 'young' events to reach a bigger audience just like IBU did with great success. But for that to be successful, you need very easily untestable rules that don't take 5 minutes to get your head around. Mass Start in biathlon have been successful because it was fresh and exciting, but also because it could be understood instinctively by anyone.

With that shit, FIS just confuse everyone, doesn't reach a new public and make angry his old and faithful base.

Zrinka Ljutić tested positive, so no WCh for her. :( Too bad, she was quite ready to turn some heads.

Still a chance she joins for the WC Finals (pending Junior WCh).

And instead of Rodolfo Dickson. :MEX will be again represented by Von Hohenlohe , now 62 years old.

Sound choice.  The World Championships is no place for trying out an inexperienced youngster.

Agreed. Right on par with men's downhill.

Which would have been an awesome competition if we still had the start order system of a few years ago...meh.

    • I used to think Johnston(e) - from some place John build (aka stone for building something hehe).   I'm not familiar if Scottish or Irish clans are named after such clan founder or a place?
    • i'm triggered,legitimately thought kennedy 2.0 happened,just way more out of nowhere
    • Perfectly obvious.    Johnson = son of John Johnston or Johnstone = From St John's Town ie Perth in Scotland.
    • Nope. Azu missed out by 0.01. Bromell lost silver by 0.001!
