I feel like the definition of choke on Totallympics doesn’t always match the actual definition of the word. Yes, Holloway was the favorite, but it’s not like he made some major mistake that cost him the gold medal; he just got outraced. That’s not so much a choke as just a plain loss to a quicker competitor on the day.

And this is why like Martina. After he didn't even really get to race in his only event: "These guys did their best and they got to run, I'm proud of them. If this is how it goes, that's what it is, better luck next time and I'll keep doing my best for them and for everyone who set their alarm to watch!"
