It would be a national scandal.  We don't talk about the women's bronzes in 2002 and 2006 in polite company.  0-2 would lead to a Parliamentary inquiry.

I miss the days we where 0-2.

Team Homan is about to become the biggest failure in Canadian Olympic history.

Canada lost to Denmark :yikes:

Denmark played like amateurs at the OQT, and judging by the first results that continued...

It's embarrassing.  There are 9 other teams that could have been there winning these games.  Just put Cheryl Benard in.

The ice really caused some problems for both teams in the last end. In the end Denmark got lucky.

Can't really say much more than luck for this match, though the girls did show some good stuff during the match.

Homan has to run the table just to make it to the semi-finals.  That's going to be tough since there are some really good teams left.  Judging by the way they're playing right now, it looks like for the first time ever our women will not medal at the Olympics.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
