Crazy day. DNFs for the best on men's side, Shiffrin with no gold on women's. Ok, that other one might not be that crazy.

Not sure, to me it seems she’s just not agressive enough and her skis didn’t flow as well as they did this season. She’s probably still tired from everything in this season.

Somehow she didn't look tired when she won the GS?

 

The lack of flow as you say suggests the snow is the main culprit IMO. Hirscher was 0,63 back when he went out too so there's more to the fact two biggest slalom favs struggled in their best event.
