It would have been fair if it was a real 100-110 seconds downhill. I'm sure that someone like Jansrud would be able to stay ahead of VMJ then.

What a shame for Oliveras. He could have been in the spotlight as the first starter in run 2, but the Canadian overtook him (who didn't even bother to show up for slalom).

Can’t really blame them for taking a “training run” here considering there is no guarantee there will be another one before the downhill.

There should be a system where they can say so right after the downhill, so people who are 31st, 32nd and so on there can still be added to the slalom start list (in the first places).
