So, this is Australia's preliminary squad already announced. Notable NBA players include Simmons, Bogut, Baynes, Dellavedova, Bolden, Ingles, Creek, Mills. Ex-Partizan Jock Landale who had great season with us and is now moving to Žalgiris is also called up, also Brock Motum who played in EL finals with Efes. Dante Exum is absent. Good squad in the toughest group however, Canadian team remains to be seen.

They were dangerous in 2016 when they didnt have such a good roster. Cant imagine how good they will be this time.

Jokic will play for Serbia. Huge news which put us squarely as no2 team in the tournament.

I don't watch a lot of NBA (mostly the highlights, at least of every play-off game), but somehow Jokic is one of my favourites mostly because he's such a freaking monster :d So, this is cool news :)

Obviously I'm biased but I'm pretty sure that I would love his game if he isn't a Serb also. He's just playing nobody else plays right now at that level. It's insane. He was voted yesterday as first team all-nba. It's incredible.

Great news for Serbia ,Jokic is definitely one of the super stars of NBA right now , i think he's the successor of Dirk Nowitzki in the NBA

I think Luka Dončić, and most of Slovenia, would disagree with that statement. ;)

Greece would also say they have a certain "Greek Freak" who is quite good. :)

Jokic and Nowitzki are both forwards, Doncic is more of a guard. I think that is what he was trying to compare.

Jokic is, to be fair, center, but positions are really fluid in NBA nowadays. Though, Jokic plays very much like a power forward, with the assist skills like a point guard. Overall he is a great player, no doubt. :)
