vlad 359 Posted September 9, 2017 #95 Share Posted September 9, 2017 Acum 12 ore, Wanderer a spus: No, the lowest ranked player to win a GS title was Mark Edmondson, ranked 212th. He won Australian Open in 1976 beating Ken Rosewall (#1 seed) in the semifinal and John Newcombe (#2 seed) in the final both in four sets. Newcombe was the defending champion. Ironically, Edmondson is still the last Australian who won Australian Open. I didn't heard this till now Thanks PS: I bet on Kyrgios to win Australian Open in next years

Venus won French Open earlier this year partnering Ryan Harrison. Both Angel and Michael are having an amazing year

heywoodu 15,135 Posted September 9, 2017 #99 Share Posted September 9, 2017 Interesting for Hingis: first she'll play the mixed doubles final against one Chan sister, then she'll play the women's doubles final with the other sister .
