That really is just going to overcomplicate things, make everything take way longer because of a ton of protests ("I didn't touch the bar, it moved because of wind", "the bar didn't even move!") and so on. I really would just leave it the way it is now. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Not sure if many others would understand why I awake so early on my day off to watch a 50km walk from the start but at least there are one or two of our species in this world It's not really a walk it's a modified run. you can't walk that fast without lifting. OlympicIRL 4,859 Posted August 13, 2017 #1935 Share Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) The British Eurosport commentator Tim Hutchings was bemoaning the fact that more women have not taken on the mantle of going for the 50km walk as if it is their fault..... maybe if they hadn't just shoe-horned it in as an event a couple of weeks before the competition, more woman would have taken it on Tim!
