0 athlete in 1500 and this guy of deca didn't improve , he still very weak in shot put /javelin

Macluffi wont compete? Very sad, he would have won gold. The guy in decathlon always improves very much at big competitions, so he is one of the favorites.

I think the best nation without african athletes is New Zealand, ahead of Lithuania, all nations ahead of them have african athletes.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

You mean by the Serbians? If you give up watching athletics before Ivana even gets a chance to impress you, oh dear, I'm getting angry :spank:

I'm really not fan of Jamaica and USA in athletics. I like only Bolt and SFP. But imo this is not sport.

Commentators here on eurosport had million theories about doping in athletics, about usa and jamaica and their results and I agree with them 99,99%.

And not about other countries? :p

I wonder if there's any sports left to watch then. Definitely not swimming, wrestling, weightlifting or any sport that's about endurance or strength or speed.

Probably for almost all nations, but they were angry tonight after 100m.

But their reaction after the final race tonight was really funny. They were in shock when they saw that usa won gold:lol:

The majority of the surprises here were people underperforming, Thompson would've won with her best times

    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
    • It's the olympics, sleep is for the weak!    The first day i got there i was on a 12 hour flight from l.a to rome (flight that left mid day), lay over, another flight to milan, uber to hotel, then right away to speed skating (1500m men), then after uber to hockey venue for women's gold final, then after the celebrations uber to the hotel, i ended up being awake about 36 hours that day, the next morning i thought to go sightseeing in the center of milan, but ended up sleeping until like 2pm..... and had speed skating/short track that night
    • I tried to get onto the metro multiple times and gave up    I had just arrived the day of from Bangkok (12 hr flight) and was just exhausted and wanted to sleep
    • Plus, you missed out on a potential metro ride with me, which is quite priceless in my opinion
    • My hotel was very close to Rho so was easy to get there, but it was so far from the hockey venue that after the women's gold medal match it was so expensive to get back, and also the next day after the usa slovakia semis it took forever, the asshole driver took the city and not the freeway
    • Uber cost me $224 CAD to get back to the hotel from the OC. It basically prevented me from buying tickets to a speed skating session
    • Romania's national team coach, Mircea Lucescu, has died half an hour ago He was in hospital since March 30th, just before the friendly match against Slovakia. Unbelievable how the life can have such turns...in March 26th he was in Istanbul playing the WC qualifying play-off vs Turkiye and now he died.    Thank you very much for every moments you bring us in your huge career (he's on 3rd place in a most trophies won in career, after Ferguson and Guardiola) and may your soul rest in peace, Mr. Lucescu.
