I also read there are rather strong rumours we won't see her in biathlon at all anymore.

And another blow to the Norwegian women's team, following Hilde Fenne's retirement, Kaia Nicolaisen has shown up on the retirement list as well.

The Romanian legend Eva Tofalvi also is ending her career.

Emoke Szocs for Hungary is also retiring, passing on the Hungarian flag to the youngsters.

Caio Moreira has retired as well, now that we're talking about it anyway. Didn't compete last season already, which was because he retired to focus on life :p

Too bad, it was a lot of fun to have him around when I visited the Brazilian team, but if other things in life are more satisfying, he deserves to focus on that :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Team :LTU Lithuania is losing Rokas Suslavičius and Natalija Paulauskaitė. There are still questions on whether we'll see Diana Rasimovičiūtė, but the rest of the team seems like they're planning to remain :)

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
