Hypocritical crowd doesn't help her case of being banned for doping TWICE :dunno:

Nope, and don't get me wrong: I would have preferred her being banned for 4-8 years (or even life), that's not my point at all :p

It's like world athletics championships if it would be in the US: they'd all be booing every Russian, then start cheering their lungs out for Gatlin.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

What? :p

Meaning that most of the people weren't that into the swimming to know all about dopers and non-dopers. :d

Smaller portion of people, some bigger swimming fans, probably started the booing. :p But anyway, I don't see how that defends her. You would also cheer for Gatlin, or even Kilty, in that case? :p

I know! Until all that booing from the people there, who right after that were just as happy cheering and celebrating for a Brazilian (I forgot who, at least luckily Cielo wasn't there) who had the exact same thing: a doping history. Hypocritical 2.0

This might have been hypocritical, but 1. I doubt very much the brazilians present knew who Efimova is/her history (hence the boos probably came from swimming fans), 2. Efimova was winning medals, while brazilians... better forget.

Glad to hear you didn't go mad and started rooting for junkies :p

Druglin is a case of his own :d I never rooted for him either, and I never will, no matter how much the crowd hated/didn't hate him.

My hate for Kilty has nothing to do with doping, just like my hate for Mekhissi-Benabbad is just because they are both absolute asswipes on so many levels :p

And yes, like vinipereira said, that might be true. Still, after that booing in Rio I'm hoping Efimova will get at least one world gold medal :p

Well, doesn't have to be about doping. For example, would you also cheer for Kilty if some hypotetical crowd was booing him for his behaviour and cheering hard for Mekhissi-Benabbad? :d
