Without an italian win after 16 stages , he was gonna get dragged by the italian public.  Plus it's not like Sky would ever help him. They are not the generous types.

Not talking specifically about Sky, but you can bet Landa will be on the attack more often this week and it would have been smart to have someone like that still owing him something.

Tom Stamsnijder (NED, Sunweb) is the main favourite, being well over 80kg, followed by Rüdiger Selig (GER, Bora) who is apparently 80kg
