Tbh, I don't like it either. It's as useless as Team Event in alpine skiing. Just another excuse for powerhouse nations to get another medal.

This team event format looks very stupid, why not giving 10-8-6-4-2 points for the free skating. with this format short programs mostly determine the medal winners.

Agreed. Just like in last Olympics, there won't be many surprises for last day, except maybe the fight for bronze.

I don't think 'amazing' is the right word. I remember him doing much better than this  It was just an okay performance for his standards.
