Just now, Werloc said:

I refuse to believe this based on the fact that Portuguese is probably my favourite language, whilst I can't listen to Russian without feeling bad (can't explain why, perhaps it's the occupation, but it's even hard to listen to Russian music)

Since the movie "The Hunt for Red October", i listen about the "anti rusian" lituanian feelings, in my country i knowed a descendant of the extinct lituanian royal family and sayed the same of you.

The fight for the podium positions remains fierce, there is a bit of a clear top-3, but they are not separated by much, while 11th place could immediately jump up to 4th!

Hello there, this translation is not going to be accurate to what I wrote in Lithuanian. Just wanted to say that in this extremely difficult year, I'm very happy that we're all here together and having fun. This means a lot to me and I'm glad that I can make some countries happy with my votes.

Yep, they mentioned this too, 'because Brazilian Portuguese has more of a 'singing' intonation', which is of course true and is one of the reasons I prefer Brazilian Portuguese :p

Apart from European Portuguese just sounding....'off' to me, just like European Spanish :d

Usually people prefer to learn Brazilian Portuguese, and for someone who wants to learn portuguese i do think is the best option as it is way easier to understand and speak. They speak with "open mouth" so it's more clear.

"original portuguese" looks like is spoken with closed mouth, so often people just hear "shh shh shh" or similar haha

You can also try the portuguese from our old african colonies, those are cool as well :d (angola's sounds funny to me)
