Messed up crash for Magnus Cort Nielsen in the finish of stage 1 at the Tour de Yorkshire a few minutes ago:

 

 

Good news is he was walking away by himself, bad news is it looked like he broke his collarbone.

Yet another cyclist has lost his life as Linas Rumsas, son of Raimondas Rumsas, was found dead in his home. He was only 21.

And he's not even the only one this week. 2014 Namibian champion Raul Costa Seibeb (25) was killed in a car accident.

And Chad Young died friday after a crash last sunday.

Yep, a crash in a descent. Followed by the Giro d'Italia organizers announcing a new 'best descender' classification.

Yes, it's the big news of the cycling world in the last days, most cyclists have already expressed their concern and anger. It's the Premio Miglior Discesista, where they choose 10 stages with a 'descending segment', and the rider who is the fastest on that segment gets the points.
