Their federation to blame, since they could have register a complete team in both genders.

On another news, IWF confirmed the final Men's team rank; after the Peruvian lifter was dq, Italy wins a quota in boys but at the same time Georgia loses that place

According to our NOC website, Tatiana Kukoľková (Table Tennis) is officially qualified for the games. She had to win a tournament in Tunisia past week to qualify, and she managed to did it, beating some huge names as the number 1 seeded Sabina Surjan (Serbia) in the 2nd round, she was even down 1-3 but won 3 next games (the last two by 2 points) to win 4-3, in the next matches she defeated Andreja Pavlovic (Croatia) the seeded number 3 and seeded number 5 Jarmila Laurenti (Italy).

This is really awesome, since the girl is our very first girl qualified for the games, I started to strongly doubts we will have any female in Buenos Aires :d in total only the second Slovak qualified after Peter Kuric in sport climbing got his ticket last year

Brazil won u18 SA futsal championship after win over Argentina 3-2 and qualified for the games.

Futsal is shaping up to be one of the best events if all qualified nations go.

    • Despite total domination by the Norwegian men (and yes, it's exhausting and boring), the accomplishments this weekend of Emil Iversen and Einar Hedegart are worth highlighting, despite them being Norwegian.    Iversen was dropped by the Norwegian national team after the opener in Beitostølen 2 weeks ago and was not taken to Ruka. Instead, he won both the 10k and 20k Interval Classic starts in Gålå in the Norwegian Cup last week, which granted him a spot on the start line in Trondheim. He took full advantage of that opportunity and finished on the podium in the skiathlon, and finished just off the podium in today's 10k Interval Freestyle. This definitely puts his name in serious contention for a spot on the Olympic team, which looked incredibly doubtful just a few days ago.    Einar Hedegart, the 24-year-old biathlete who decided to challenge the stereotype that biathletes are inferior skiers to their cross-country counterparts, just won the 10k Interval Start against all of Norway's best in a de facto Olympic trial.    Yes, it's exhausting seeing nothing but Norwegian flags on the men's side, but there can be excitement just beneath the surface at times.
