2026 Winter Olympics - Day -2/-1 (February 4/5)

Obviously doesn’t mean McMorris will be able to compete (whether in big air or slopestyle later in the games), but at least it appears it isn’t a life threatening or altering injury.

So… 6 athletes out of the Olympics injured, with 5 of them probably in contention for medals.

Stellato-Dudek (which means Deschamps is out as well)

That is very good news. As long as he's okay, we'll worry about his ability to compete later. Dude's been through it.

Also softens the blow considering has nothing to prove anymore, he won medals in three consecutive Olympics. Although it would’ve been nice to see him win gold finally, or even silver.

McMorris is out of the hospital and is being evaluated to see if his body is ready enough to compete in big air qualifications. Fingers crossed. 

Hearing news like this though, so happy to know he’s doing well
