Just an inspiring story of perseverance: Geovanna Santos is competing in her ninth season as a senior gymnast. Most gymnasts retire after four or five years, so even competing at the highest level in her ninth year is already unusual. However, this year she achieved a breakthrough result by earning her very first medal on the World Cup circuit, winning bronze on ribbon at the Tashkent World Cup. It’s never too late to achieve success. -

as expected, the C&J was quite a missed lifts fest however, Marin Robu won also this competition with 200kg, completing the triple set of gold medals local hero Luka Mskhelidze got the silver medal in both the C&J and the Olympic Total, with Andranik Karapetyan saving the Total bronze despite a modest effort in the 2nd phase C&J bronze went to Cristiano Ficco ❤️ finally fit after a few years full of injuries (the Italian was also 4th in the OT, just 3kg shy of bronze and he was the only man with 6 good lifts Today) -
