Born in Reunion grew up in Wanaka NZ, and learnt all his snowboarding there Junior WC in big air for NZ not so long ago until he switched to GB.

Someone please tell me every single athlete who didn't qualify for the big air final has at least one more event to go? The chance of athletes' Olympics being done before the opening ceremony would be utterly ridiculous...

Yes in Slopestyle, 

 

but there athletes who will not compete after the Opening Ceremony, let be honnest if POL as expected will not qualify to the final rounds their Ice Dance Pair will end their competition at the Olympics before the Opening Ceremony 

 

Same is at risk for the French Pairs and Japanese Ice Dance pair, but here we can expect they qualify in the team event among the final 5 teams though

That should be one of the main things that should be kicked out of both Winter and Summer Olympics. Every single athlete should at least have the chance to compete after the Olympics are actually declared open.

Great level in the qualification.  I must admit that it was nice to see guy from China qualified and his expression after 3 attempt. The biggest suprise is Guseli - perfect 3 attempt. Unfortunately second canadian guy is out for me. I think China Japan and Italy will finish with podium.
