One of the most entertaining sports at the Olympics, again and again. Such a tragedy the 50k is gone, in terms of pure misery and athletes being absolutely dead it is like the marathon x3.

 

I'd say this and cross-country skiing are among the very top of Olympic disciplines/sports that just totally destroy athletes during a race more than any other, on average.

Italian race walking without Stano and Palmisano doesn`t exist and that is the problem.

Bonfim has been one of the best in every competition, literally every competition, but he could never win gold. Finally, this medal came.

WA completely lost the plot with all the changes and funnily enough race walking impacts T&F very little since it's always held in the morning and doesn't influence the more important stadium events. The new marathon distance is a joke since they could have easily maintained the classic 50km but oh well, it's not the first time white collars have no clue what's going on. At least they clamped down on the Semenyas and Mbomas so that's a small price to pay.
