I mean if delay of game is the problem, surely that will be factored into. Its not going to take away from the soccer match at all imo, especially since most fans wouldn't care bout the 'half-time show' -

What’s the point. We all know it will overrun and delay the start of the second half, making the players more prone to injury. It takes away from the actual spectacle (the football), and overall just feels like a forced way to make the game for ‘Americanised’ If you have ever watch the champions league final, then they do a flashy performace before the start of the match, and they boos alone tell you what the fans think of it.
