Very odd race, think the high numbers had the advantage with the condition of the piste.

Until recently, Austria was the hegemon in this sport, and for several years it has been Switzerland. There must be huge money going there for several years, looking at their results. They have stars in every discipline, wide squads, young successors. When I compare it with Italy, there is no comparison. After Brignone and Goggia left, we have almost no one, and Switzerland pulls out some super talented 21/22 year old every 2-3 years.

:USA Lindsey Vonn in 4th and would have been on the podium if not for lost time in the last technical section. It's clear she's still got some juice (like riding a bike, aye) and overall the level of women's speed events has kinda dropped which means she can do some podium damage until WOG 2026 :evil:
