I found that Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton has its own internal selection criteria.

 

My guess would that be there wasn't a 2nd male athlete that met the requirements.

If Canada decline a second male does that mean a place opens up for another mixed team? If Canada 2nd team are also out?

Don't think so. There's no fixed amount of mixed relay quotas, it's only for teams that have a minimum of 1 male + 1 female athlete.

Anyone want to take a crack at guessing the women’s alpine skiing team? 
 

We have eight quotas, potentially nine, but besides the obvious names I have no idea on who will qualify.
