Yeah she says the omnium has basically turned into the best points race riders (the last race of 4)

Yeah, unless you win every other race going into it (like the gold medal winner did here), you can just do well in the points race and finish at or near the top. The riders who finished 1-2-3 in the points race got silver, bronze and fourth despite not doing that great in the other races.

But I seriously want to know what exactly happened to our cyclists. Does anyone know how and why they got sick?
