How is it pathetic lol? They didn’t play at their best level, but Slovenia is a good team.

They seemed to give up towards the end. They had the momentum and shoud have won set 2

A win against :COL will guarantee :CAN at minimum (and at most unlike a really weird result in :NZL - :FRA) second place in the group. The six point penalty can be overcome.

This is crazy

Fingers crossed USA beats Australia.

Our next round opponent is either Spain or Germany most likely

Doesn’t matter who we face in the quarters if we can manage to get out of this situation haha

Give up is a bit harsh, but agree on the second point.

:CAN eliminated in surfing, I believe this is the first sport that we had qualified for that we are done in.

Dempfle-Olin finishes tied for 17th. Not a great performance, but for her the victory was just qualifying.

Ya know what, IDGAF about the loses. We got two absolutely legendary Olympic moments today with Harvey’s bronze and the women’s soccer team rising from the dead. Day 2 was kinda fire.

Wouldn’t call it amazing still (I mean we only won one medal… and another contender flopped), but definitely good.

I seem to care about the losses (Guo in fencing/loss to New Zealand in women’s rugby sevens somewhat, volleyball, and MacNeil in swimming) more than the rest of you it seems

Only way I’m not, is if we win an unusually high amount of medals in a day.
