:CZE Barbora Krejcikova wins the women's final 6-2 2-6 6-4 over :ITA Jasmine Paolini.

Still it's a huge upset given Krejcikova's poor season and the injury troubles she had. The draw collapsed in the early rounds alas she beat the big favorite Rybakina in SF so there is that.

Paolini is set to become the next Jabeur at this rate.

:SVK Renata Jamrichova wins the Wimbledon Girls title 6-3 6-4 over :AUS Emerson Jones @hckošice

her 2nd GS title this year after Australian Open. If she was from USA or another important country I guess there would be maybe also some words or two or who knows maybe even already a super-BBCstyle-hype in the world medias growing more and more, but, since it is Slovakia surely nobody even care more than we two with our 5 sentences in this thread.

Yeah and she also beat Jones in the AO girls final. She confirmed this is her last junior event so time to make some noise in WTA. While being this tall and a southpaw she can prove a tricky out on the big stage and perhaps she gets noticed by some wider audience if she gets the results. I wouldn't bet against that right now.

Meanwhile :ESP Carlos Alcaraz beat :SRB Novak Djokovic 6-2 6-2 7-6(4) in the men's final.

:ITA Jasmine Paolini beat :CRO Donna Vekic in three sets to advance to her second GS final in a row.

Paolini was down 2-5 in the decider to Madison Keys the other day and only won this match when Keys got injured but well, she's truly making the most of her season run so far.

I'm late on this but yes Paolini has improved a lot this year, she had 3 deep runs however she only had 1 top 10 win total in those runs combined, Rybakina at Roland Garros who played a horrible match...

She made back to back slam finals with only one win in each tournament over a seeded player in a completed match. It will be interesting to see how she does at the WTA Finals because she has proven she can beat lower ranked players very consistently but not against the top girls.
