Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024 Medal Count

Asia dominated medal table currently with South Korea, Japan and China occupying the top 3 positions

South Korea had only 6 Golds in Tokyo and now they can have those in 3 days. Japan probably won't reach the outstanding 27 host golds, but they could very well end with 20.

Yes. Korea really dominating shooting this time with a young team.

@Vic Liu As always, any comments on how things are going, expectations, rections etc. from inside China are welcomed. :d Anything that can give us more info on how Chinese officials and people are seeing the Games.

Generally Team China performs normally as what I expected in terms of medals and golds numbers, not underperforming or beyond expectation. But some specific matches are way too drama and it almost made me heart attacks like Shooting women's 10m air rifle, swimming men's 100m breast and gymnastics men's team. Still until now, it's meeting my expectation and I am glad to see Asian neighbors like Korea and Japan well performed in Europe.

Hong Kong just sneaks into the top 10 to end the day. What a day for all of these teams, even the USA as long as you go by NBCs ranking system. Lots of US Bronzes today.

    • Serbia- Italy 0-6   I don't know how tjis Serbia can to draw 0-0 with Sweden at home... I have the impression that Sweden plays its best matches against Italy and is weak in the rest? However, 1 place in this group will be difficult to do and we won't avoid a playoff spot for spot on the World Cup. If we're to dream of first place, we absolutely must win in Denmark on Saturday.
    • However it's Antoni Kowalski who becomes the first  player to qualify for the Crucible TV phase after beating  Jamie Jones 10-8 in the last Q round!
    • These stats are ridiculous.  I think ElShorbagy and ElSherbini are still in the Top 10 now.   (By comparison, 15 years is also the time span since Katie Ledecky has lost a 1500m race.)   Source: PSA Facebook
    • And another incredible performance for us in judo, is like this sport literally revived.
    • wins 3-2 and also missed a penalty. Poland's chances have been reduced so much they basically have to win in Dublin in four days time.
