Archery WAE European Olympic Qualifier 2024

Let's try to summarize after the first proper round of the men's archery.

 

Italy, Great Britain, and the Netherlands are still going strong, as is Denmark's Staudt.

 

There's a small upset with Kresala beating Kasprovski 3-0 (with an average arrow score of 9.7).

 

Among the smaller NOCs still in the game, Cyprus and Luxembourg are still holding on

 

In the next round, the seeded players will enter the game.

Just finished the round of 16 in men's archery, Italy remains the only nation still with a full contingent.

 

However, both Denmark, to which I gave some chances, and Cyprus are eliminated.

 

Not doing great Netherlands, with Broeksma out and Wijler barely saved by a shoot-off.

Nespoli had a very close match against another our archer. Will see what happen tomorrow

Nespoli has needed 5 sets in both of his matches today, so the bottom half of the draw is pretty open.
