Cysique will battle for the Bronze.. It's also the third time after Mheidze and Khyar that a French judoka almost wins but makes a stupid mistake and loses.

In men’s 73kg,  Heydarov v.  Gaba for gold,  Gjakova v.  Hashimoto for the 1st bronze &  Lombardo v.  Osmanov for the 2nd bronze
