the elbow hit of the :HUN player was more of a red card than the 2 of the "Gladiators"...

That's right. I would have given the red card to the HU player in question. Even the local commentator said it deserved a red card.

Yesterday for 7 seconds Spain was going to face Denmark and Sweden to Face Egypt until last second goal from Spain winger

Quarter finals are:

:ESP VS :EGY  equal game ..Spain has better winning record but this tournament are not performing very well, Pastor Egyptian Coach with Spanish Nationality will try to do his best to recover the blame Parondo received on the bronze medal game in Tokyo when Spain claim it over Egypt ... my take is 50 / 50 game but Egypt could go through

:GER VS :FRA no doubt it's a great game to watch ..France despite they are playing at home but the team is not performing well .. Karabatic brothers are having lack of fitness , Mem and Richardson are not able to raise the team high too ..the best player so far is Prandi ... Germany on the other hand are doing very well  speically the GK Wolff and Knorr .. on paper Germany is the favourite team based on the recent performance .. but you can't ignore the impact of playing home ..and refereeing ;) .. I'd go for Germany

:DEN VS :SWE Viking clash .. regardless the performance in this olympics but both teams are used to face each others .. Denmark is the only team who won all games ..supported by amazing GK Landin .. last tournament for Hansen and the brilliant right back Gidsel .. while Sweden are relying on GK Palicka and center back Gottfridsson ...my guess will go for Denmark

:NOR VS :SLO  another equal game ..both teams are not the top but they can beat anyone .. Slovenia beat Sweden and Norway beat France in group stage .. just because of experience I'd go for Norway

4 good games and hopefully high level of handball ..enjoy

Egipt as always🥺. They need better gk. Stupid mistakes in defense, some bad clear shots in 1st half, pity.

I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

    • Tandrevold &  Kuzmina both in bad places.   Vittozzi looking confident.
    • At the pro level (NHL) 20 players dress every game - 12 forwards (4 lines of 3 forwards), 8 defensmen (3 pairs of 2 defensmen) and 2 goalies. You kinda need a third goaltender in a tournament setting (because if the starter goes down you still need a backup, and it's such a specialized position that you can't really get anyone else to fill in), and you also need one spare forward and defensman for when you need to do a healthy scratch. So 23 players is sort of the "default" roster size.   It was expanded to 25 sort of as a compronise - previously the roster size was 23 (still is for the women, though that will likely expand to 25 in 2030), but you were allowed to do emergency injury replacements during the tournament. Now, the roster is bigger (25) but you are not allowed, under and circumstances, to add a player after the tournament starts.
    • No need to apologize, you’re good
    • I'm mostly amazed nations can bring 25 (!) ice hockey players
    • Some fun fact trivia about our team   52 Athletes is 2 athletes more than 4 years ago.  36 of them are men (25 of them obviously the Ice Hockey players) and 16 of them are women     From the 52 athletes 31 will experience their Olympic debut On the other side Jozef Ninis in Luge will comepete at his 6th consecutive Olympics, which is the new  record at WOG     From the 52 athletes 13 are already Olympic medalists: 11 Ice Hockey players returning to the games after being part of the Bronze medal team 4 years ago Petra Vlhová has 1 gold and is the reigning Olympic champion in W Slalom Anastasiya Kuzmina in her world apart is with 3 Olympic Gold and 3 Silvers the most medalled Slovak athlete in history of the Winter Olympics (She is also the only female biathlete in history to win 3 Olympic golds in 3 different WOG)     The youngest athlete of the team is the 18 years old Short Track Speed Skater Lea Popovičová The oldest the already mentioned Jozef Ninis (44 years old)     4 athletes were born abroad the Anchorage, Alaska  born cross-country skier Peter Hinds (American father & Slovak mom) Tyumen  born and naturalized biathlete Anastasiya Kuzmina who comepete for Slovakia since 2008 and won all her successes and medals under our flag Graz  born biathlete Jakub Borguľa, just born there to Slovak parents and Jeseniky  born and naturalized cross-country skier Tomáš Cenek.   As already mentioned in the previous page,  will compete in 11 sports here, which is the new absolute record. We are returning after 8 years in Figure Skating, 12 years in Freestyle Skiing and 16 years in Ski Jumping. We will not start only in Snowboarding, Nordic Combined, Speed Skating, Skeleton and Curling. (Speed Skating, Skeleton and Curling remains from now the only sports we still never participated in at the WOG)     We will have debut in the Ski Mountaineering, and for the first time ever participate in 2-bobs, W Luge Doubles and Ski Cross.     Interseting fact to mention is also that from the 52 athletes 15 are born between 2004-2007   So now you know and can go enlighten further
