Maximillen Van Haaster

Daniel Gu

Blake Broszus

Bogdan Hamilton (alternate for team event)

Women’s Foil

Jessica Guo

Eleanor Harvey

Yunjia Zhang

Sabrina Fang (alternate for team event)

Men’s Sabre

Francois Cauchon

Shaul Gordon

Fares Arfa

Olivier Desrosiers (alternate for team event)

Men’s Epee

Nicholas Zhang

Women’s Sabre

Pamela Brind’Amour

Canada only has realistic medal hopes in women’s foil (Jessica Guo and Eleanor Harvey both have chances, but Guo has had more momentum lately with a bronze at the Paris World Cup, and a bronze at the Novi Sad World Cup. She also hasn’t finished worse than 10th in all six Grand Prix’s/World Cup’s this season) and maybe women’s team foil. But the gap between the top four nations (US, Italy, France, Japan) and Canada is quite noticeable so it’s not very likely.

Ruien Xiao received a reallocated host nation quota in women’s epee, improving our team size in fencing to 15 athletes!
