I think he'll be okay.

 

Men's 50m freestyle final is at 8:30. 100m butterfly semis take place at 9:09. Don't think he needs to go 100% to make the final

Nice to hear Marianne Limpert on the commentary. One of the few Olympian I've meet in person (also once randomly meet a Artistic Swimming Olympian when I worked as a lifeguard)

Yeah, I still remember in 2019 when Markus Thormeyer was the only guy who could reach OQTs.

 

Now we have guys like Liendo, Knox, Kharun, Acevedo, Tierney, Jankovics, Kisil and other good swimmers like Wigginton and Axon.
