Men’s and Women’s Ski Jumping World Cups in Sapporo (scheduled for Jan. and Feb. 2021) are cancelled.

Better. No one wouldn't want go to Japan for two stages in these times. And better for Japan to keep corona under control. Better for Japan and better for Olympics.

3rd from last seasons WC Eva Pinkelnig tore her spleen after training fall https://www.de24.news/en/2020/12/ski-jumping-austrian-eva-pinkelnig-had-an-emergency-operation-after-a-fall.html

That is scary, good thing the emergency surgery went well. I couldn't help but notice this auto-translate jewel though: Peeing was responsive and stable after the fall, as the ÖSV wrote.

Thomas Morgenstern FINALLY got promised bottle of vodka from Piotr Żyła  Żyła promised bottle of vodka to him 8(!) years ago, as a present, because Thomas noticed a made mistake by referees during team competition at World Championships in 2013 (with benefit for Norwegian team), due to notice of this mistake referees gave less points to Norwegian team and thanks to this Polish team wins bronze medal at World Championships for the first time ever :d
