 Tanja Hüberli/Nina Brunner, the Olympic bronze medalists, are uncertain about their future together.

 Hüberli/Brunner announce the end of their partnership after 9 years together 

 

I love these girls, they were my second favourite women’s pairing after MHP/Wilkerson (and probably the only other women’s pairing I rooted for, besides Mader/Verge-Depre somewhat) so it’s such a shame to see them split. 
 

Brunner will take a break from beach volleyball and focus on starting a family (she still has that desire to return), while Hüberli will continue with a new partner.

Beach volleyball is back, Elite 16 in  Joao Pessoa!  (Djokovic-Sinner starts in 3 1/2 hours, so won’t be watching too much)

So apparently  George/Andre are splitting up after the end of the BPT Finals?

Phenomenal match this was, the Qataris played really well too (their ball control really let them down at the end though)

 

Probably one of the best finals I’ve ever watched (Hamburg Elite 16 in 2022 between Bryl/Łosiak and Meeuwsen/Brouwer was another)

 

What a grind it was from them to come back from down 10-13 down in set 3, also having to save 2 MP’s.
