Alright, Schippers' race is followed by the interview with Churandy Martina right after he reached the final. Every interview with Churandy is the best anti-depressant possible, every disappointment will be compensated by Churandy's comments, always :)

b) She wont finish

c) She will completely mess up and not break 12.60 s

I dont think so ... at least not in the next race. All 5 american girls would have to completely mess up ... then the medals would go to Roleder, Seymour and George. That really would be something! :p

      Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.

      Has the quota for Canada been offically confirmed anyway, or is that just a rumour? I can't find anything on google about it (nor the suggested quota for England's athletes someone posted earlier).   12 per gender would make sense (it's roughly what Canada sent to Birmingham). 12 overall seems dumb.

      In the past few games, Canada (and other nations) was given an overall athlete quota which they then divided it through the various sports.
