hckošice 14,822 Posted December 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2023 Jakub Borguľa won yesterday the sprint in Pokljuka. It was his first competition as a junior. Great result and achievement. Today finished 10th in the Individual, while his mate Adamov was 4th. RobtheAggie, mrv86 and heywoodu 2

RobtheAggie 340 Posted December 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2023 There are 30 teams scheduled for the Mixed Relay for the Juniors. There are 35 teams for the single Mixed Relay.

RobtheAggie 340 Posted December 14, 2023 #6 Share Posted December 14, 2023 I am not sure that all 35 will start, but the fact that there 35 potential teams is great news. FireRun and Biathlonfan
Werloc 3,164 Posted December 14, 2023 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2023 And that's without Norway, Sweden, Finland, United States, China, Japan, that could've easily lifted the number up to 41 RobtheAggie and Biathlonfan 1

NFs need that exposure/funding For some countries that's the same in non-YOG years. Brazil for example quite literally only starts for the IBU money and equipment (both in the Junior Cup and nowadays also in the IBU Cup), although of course officially it's for stuff like "improving talents" and whatnot. They don't ever train shooting outside of the few days during the season, they have broken rifles and they just use the free equipment for everything and nothing, but with YOG....nah, not much to do with that, and somehow I doubt it's different for the likes of Chile (who's girls needed WAY more than double the time of the sprint winners so far) or Macedonia Edited December 15, 2023 by heywoodu .
