What a horrible clash by Popovic. Have you ever seen anything like that? This fresh snow in Kranjska Gora may be really dangerous

Shiffrin chose to avoid injury today. Very wise

Popovic still T2. I wonder if she races 2nd run

Wengen Time!!! Today is first downhill.

I must say Wengen is my favourite World Cup Stage for the whole season.

I am definitely Team Wengen / not Team Kitzbuehel... :-)

C'mon guys, entertain us!!!

Aaand Wengen delivers!

Odermatt… just wow! You may like him or not but… just wow

Sarrazin brilliant . Proved he wasn’t just one-race lucky rider … hope he won’t get injured soon because he is riding like 120% percent

Kilde only 3rd… and he had the lucky train on the way… so it might have been his best chance this weekend lol

nice to see innerhofer back after this nasty Bormio fall

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
