Expand they (IIHF) would have to make some kind of exception to the rules because, "A player, who has previously participated in IIHF competition, can switch national eligibility (but only once in a player's life)" Additionally, it would be interesting to know when she submitted the request to change, it would have to have been at least two years before the Olympics start.
