Yeah, unlikely for that to happen. The 200m events are safe. The ones that could be at risk would be the 800m free, 4x200m free and the 4x100m mixed medley.

I find this problem larger at the worlds than at multi-sport games, where you can divide attention to other sports anyway.

Cyprus with only 37.900 on the pommel horse. Definitely an opportunity for Australia to pass them, they just can't fall too often.

 In with a chance of shock win over  - Pakistan only 54-4 after 12 overs in reply to the Bajan’s 144-4, so as anyone can tell it is a real crisis for The Falcons!

I can see people finding swimming a bit repetitive, but I don’t know what races you’ve been watching if you think there’s no action.

 

There are a few events where one person dominates, but it’s not like that’s a phenomenon limited to swimming.

 

I do agree that programs could be reworked to create more difference between events.

We obv need 1500m events for all strokes, along with a 1600m medley.

 

(if any swimming events ought to get the ax it’s the 800m and the mixed medley relay)
