Olympian1010 7,659 Posted October 29, 2023 #1374 Share Posted October 29, 2023 Looks like a pretty physically taxing gate set. A lot of going back and forth across the current. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,659 Posted October 29, 2023 #1377 Share Posted October 29, 2023 (edited) causally just missed three gates there. The hosts can sometimes get away with things, but creating your own course outside the set gates probably isn’t one of them Edited October 29, 2023 by Olympian1010 thiago_simoes and Josh 2 “Sport has the power to change the world. hckošice 13,696 Posted October 29, 2023 #1379 Share Posted October 29, 2023 This only proves again what I am saying for years... Natural venue in canoe Slalom works well and maybe even better than luxurious artificial extremely expensive tracks and venues. Really no need of them, Olympic organizers would reduced costs by millions and millions, but obviously this is not the way IOC want to go... Last time we had Natural track was the Lake Ocoee in Atlanta 1996 and it is considered as still the best Canoe Slalom Olympics competitions ever Spoiler intoronto
