Womenʻs Football qualification has ended. Now that the Pan American Games are after the Womenʻs World Cup, there shouldnʻt be teams dropping out (:CRC :JAM :USA), but things could change. As of right now, though, this would be the field:

Host: :CHI

CONCACAF: :CRC :JAM :USA (4th team is selected by CONCACAF. Possible choices: :CAN :HAI :PAN )

CONMEBOL: :ARG :PAR :VEN

4th team is given to the best team not qualified, ie Canada.

Is the Handball qualification system available somewhere? @JoshMartini007 @intoronto @mrv86 ? They will be non direct Olympic qualification events, because the Handball tournament at the Pan American Games will be a direct Olympic qualification event.

Nothing official yet. The continental federation is one of the worst to get info from

Yeah, I guessed that. Please tag me here when you find out something about that, I will add the qualifying events in the list of qualifying events for Paris 2024!

Canoe Sprint quotas (using race results). This system is always convoluted and the actual quotas may be totally different. Men's canoe/Women's canoe and women's kayak had leftover quotas as not enough entries could fill them up. My guess is they are awarded as wildcards, but we shall see.

Men's Canoe: :BRA :CAN :COL x3, :ARG :CUB :MEX   :USA x2 :CHI :DOM :PER x1

Men's Kayak: :CAN:USA x6 :ARG :CHI :MEX x5, :CUB x4, :PUR :URU x3, :BRA:TTO x2 :BIZ x1

Women's Canoe: :CAN:CHI:USA x3, :ARG :CUB :MEX x2 :BRA :COL:ECU x1

Women's Kayak: :ARG:CAN x6 :USA x5 :CHI :CUB :MEX x4, :PER x2, :BRA:COL x1

14 nations qualified (ie all competing nations at the qualifier, qualified at least one boat). Good too see Belize qualify again in this sport.

Never understood why Brazil can't participate in this anymore. Brazil could send a B team and win a medal (as long as USA and Canada did the same).

Because they are too good (literally) since they have to place between 3-5th, which is highly unlikely with the team's strength atm
