My Raiders barely escape the 0-11 Jets with a last second Hail Mary-like Henry Ruggs TD. However it seemed like Jets simply tanked that play away to make sure they don't lose on the #1 draft pick. They dropped back only three players in coverage when usually teams drop like 7 or 8 to make sure the deep throw gets neutralized.

New York Jets have beaten LA Rams 23-20 and are 1-13. That means Jacksonville Jaguars are up to #1 overall draft pick in line for Trevor Lawrence :p

Hell, Jets even suck at losing!

Yeah, losing to the Jets will be the low point of LA sports this year, in what has otherwise been one of the greatest years for LA teams.

Saints' Alvin Kamara had 6 rushing TD vs Vikings yesterday. That's the second time in NFL history a player had six rush TD in a single game. The only time that happened before was 1929!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2007. They blew out the Lions 47-7 earlier today.

QB Dwayne Haskins has been released from Washington just a week after attending a stripper party on a night his team lost to the Seahawks. He backed that up with a horrible play vs 4-10 Panthers yesterday where he got benched. HC Ron Rivera had enough of him long before but injuries to Alex Smith and Kyle Allen pressed Haskins into service anyway. He'll go down as true bust after Washington selected him #15 overall in 2019.

The longest active playoff drought is over as Cleveland Browns advanced into the postseason after beating Pittsburgh Steelers 24-22. These two will meet again in Wild Card round next weekend.

Miami Dolphins completely crapped the bed and got blown out 56-26 by Buffalo Bills (and their backups in 2nd half). Tua Tagovailoa's dink & dunk show just isn't good enough to carry this offense.

Best defense in the NFL and they allow the Bills to put a 50-spot on them.  They're all about the future at this point, they never expected to do much this year, but not a good way to finish the season

It's always tough to plan for the future in NFL - even the next season. They won 10 games this season and should have made it to the playoffs. You can't plan that far ahead - look at Cardinals, they got Hopkins for Murray yet they still sit behind the Trubisky-led Bears for the last spot in NFC. And Murray is out injured and they have a Grey Cup winner trying to lead them to playoffs. 95% of the league can't stop the Bills offense but the Dolphins offense is pure dink & dunk show, Brian Flores got a lot of credit for defensive performance but he looks too conservative on offense.

Bills are set for a while and Patriots will eventually bounce back once thet get rid of Newton and get the defensive stars back next season. 2020 was the season when Dolphins should have made the PO push.
