Which Sports Events are you Currently Watching?

I love new sports, but 100% no. Summer sports should not create winter versions just to get onto the Winter Olympic program. There are still multiple actual winter sports and disciplines that have been left off the program. I fear the IOC will add some of these abominations though.

Ice cross you mean

Ice Cross is a legitimate winter sport. I’m confused by what you mean.

Ice Cross, Climbing, and Natural Track Luge. (Bandy, Synchronized Skating, and Telemark Skiing would need more participation and expansion)

tbh, I'd rather watch the "original" Cricket at the Summer Games...

I agree with @Olympian1010 we have already quite a few legitimate winter sports left off the Games, before starting taking seriously those extravagant "newcomers" (even if...synchronized skating, no thanks! :finger:)...

It’s a combination of Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Backcountry Skiing (it’s where it’s roots are I believe), and Ski Jumping. The most unique aspect of the discipline is the telemark position. You should be able to figure out what that is.

Ice climbing feels like it fits exactly in the category of sports you wouldn't want at the Winter Olympics (winter versions of summer sports) :p

Like ice hockey of course, another winter version of a summer sport.

May not be a sport I'd want to have included at the games.

We already have Nordic combined which is so similiar .

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
