what a match and I know this is going to hurt a lot for Egyptian fans , that was really cruel. but they surely can be proud of their team. that was the most dramatic handball match I ever seen.

I don't think it is fear, they played bravely and their very best, it was two lapses in concentration in two key moments that denied the win.

Reaching the Top8 is still a great achievement. I think it's a shame when people remember a team for messing up their opportunity instead of appreciating for what they have achieved. For example, sometimes Hungarians do that with the 2000s female team who messed up the last few minutes of their Olympic and World Championship final in 2000 and 2003, when in fact that was the greatest team we've ever had in women's handball.
