Well, if the Ain is a prediction for the TdF, it’s going to be a dull race.  Ineos go the the front, drive up the climb.  Jumbo-Visma go to the front, drive up the climb.  500m from the top, Ineos & J-V fight it out for the win & bonus secs. 
 

Anyway, today Roglić  - no hang on, that’s not right - Roglič  takes the stage & the Tour.

NTT is no longer the only/main team looking for oldies with potentially career wrecking injuries and completely ignore actually useful young talented riders, they've got competition in that regard since Israel is throwing money around lately

The World Championships, which were to take place from 20 to 27 September in Switzerland, will not finally take place after a decision by the Swiss authorities.

The second race today, the Gran Piemonte aka Tour de Barolo, goes into the final big loop with 40k togo.

And this time Jumbo-Visma’s chosen winner was George Bennett  - amazingly, only the second win of his career at age 30.  Hope it’s one of those races where the winner gets his weight in wine.
